IHEA Puts Their Stamp on New Online Training Curriculum for Hunter Education Instructors

The International Hunter Education Association (IHEA) has introduced a new online training program designed to facilitate certification and re-certification of Hunter Education Instructors. The multi-media curriculum, developed in partnership with the Remington Outdoor Foundation and bearing an IHEA stamp of approval, features lessons designed to enhance volunteer’s teaching and communication skills using animation, photos, video and expert narrators.

With more than 70,000 volunteer instructors in North America, Jim Moore of Remington Outdoor Foundation’s assertion that Hunter Education Instructors “are the backbone of the Hunter Education Program.” He further expressed his confidence in the online courses stating, “The Foundation’s funding and technical support combined with the IHEA’s curriculum allowed us to create an online program that helps instructors renew their certification and encourages prospective mentors to help make hunting even safer and more enjoyable.”
