Glock owners get all the cool stuff first. Brass Stacker makes a handful of CNC-machined firearms accessories that add a small amount of tactical to guns without going all-out. Their new Reserve Round is a follower and floorplate kit for Glock magazines that adds +1 without changing the dimensions one iota.
Replacing the factory follower, floorplate, and spring allows the Reserve Round to expand 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG magazines’ capacity by an additional round.
It really is the same size, too. The Brass Stacker’s parts are externally the same, but have smaller internal dimensions and improved geometry that allow for an extra cartridge in the box. The spring is a little springier to accommodate the spare round.
All the parts are solid steel and sport a black oxide finish, and the Reserve Round kit comes with a 100% no-hassle lifetime warranty. These look like an awesome way to get a small boost in capacity without changing the profile of the magazine at all. The only thing we would change is the price. At 40 bucks a kit (free shipping) it’d cost a pretty penny to modify a large number of magazines, but hey, some things just don’t come cheap.
Brass Stacker makes a handful of other nifty accessories, like loaders for SIG, Ruger, Beretta, and Walther .22s, a few other Glock accessories, and even accessories for Hi-Point carbines and Mosin-Nagants.
If you’re a Glock owner and want to put a little more pow in your carry, competition, or range gun, check out Brass Stacker.
