While there, he spoke to NRA radio personality and intrepid reporter Ginny Simone.
“You look around here, and it’s a reflection of the support of the American public for the Second Amendment, this whole industry and the freedoms that we care about,” LaPierre told Ms. Simone.
But LaPierre also had politics on his mind. He underscored the importance of the upcoming Presidential election and the need for gun owners to participate in the political process.
“2012 is probably the most dangerous election for the Second Amendment in our lifetime,”
LaPierre said. “This year could break the back of the Second Amendment as an individual right in this country if we don’t work to save it.”
Do you agree with LaPierre? Is this the most dangerous election for the Second Amendment in our lifetime?
Oh yes, and for the loyal Democrats, Obama.
