Ruger has narrowed the field down to their eight final contestants for the “I Took the Challenge” contest, now they are asking for your vote and the polls are open until March 23, 2012.
The finalists include Chadwick J. from Plumas Lake, CA, Peter P. from Mount Vernon, OH, Pam O. From Salem, SC, Ryan J. from Flatwoods, KY, Cassie E. from Austin, TX, Brandon S. from Hickory, NC, Sam S. from Herriman, UT and James R. from Albuquerque, NM. Each has their own individual story and their own reason for purchasing their firearms, from trying to regain confidence after a violent assault to having to convince a significant other the purchase is a good idea to using firearms to bond with that significant other.
The winner of the challenge will win a trip to the 141st NRA Annual Meeting in St. Louis, Missouri April 13-15, 2012 for the opportunity to present the final 1 Million Gun CHallenge check to NRA Executive Vic President, Wayne LaPierra.
