NSSF Releases Where2Shoot App to Help Shooters Find Gun Ranges

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) has released an iPhone app that gives users access to the most comprehensive directory of shooting ranges.

Where2Shoot allows users to search for ranges near their current location or by zip code and state. The search then provides specific information on each range, such as the shooting activities offered, accessibility and contact information. The app also includes news, safety information and tips for interested shooters.

The app, modeled after NSSF’s popular WhereToShoot.org, is updated frequently with range information in every U.S. state and Canadian province. Also updates frequently are the news and tips sections of the app, so that shooters stay up-to-date on industry information and provided with a constant stream of valuable shooting advice and videos.

The NSSF is currently working on a version of the application for the Android platform, it is expected to be available this summer.
