NRA Whittington Center, located in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico, has announced that its first Annual Ruger Rimfire Challenge will be held on April 22, 2012.
Ruger Rimfire events promote an exciting and fun competition for families and individual competitors of all skill levels. Events include both rifle and pistol stages, and competitors may opt to compete in more than one classification. There is a Limited division, which allows open iron sights and permits fiber optic front sights and Open division, allowing scopes, illuminated dot, lasers and recoil compensated custom firearms. Stages are designed for competitor safety and to eliminate first time competitor anxiety. The event only allow .22 long rifle ammunition.
The NRA Whittington Center’s first annual Ruger Rimfire Challenge will be held on April 22, 2012. Registration for the event begins at 8:00am and the competition begins at 9:00am.
