A Chinese documentary on the country’s police force had its thunder stolen by a random shot of Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan.
The billionaire Facebook creator wasn’t being escorted by a security force or anything like that. He was just strolling through Shanghai. And of all the 42 berjillion people in China, the camera just happened to catch him and his gal. Filmmakers either didn’t realize it or otherwise didn’t care, because they made the documentary available without batting an eye. It’s since become a viral sensation throughout China.
It’s a bit ironic, actually, because Facebook is banned in China. They use a website called RenRen (Chinese for “everybody everybody”), which definitely didn’t steal its layout and design theme from Facebook. Nope, not at all.
The couple was captured on camera just weeks before their wedding. Zuckerberg was reportedly in Shanghai to visit with the CEO of Baidu, the Chinese equivalent of Google. If you’re curious, the narrator is saying, “There’s a serious shortage in China’s police manpower” as the couple walk out of the frame.
