Jesse Jackson recently called his followers to march on gun shops across America.
Jackson made the statement earlier this week in Racine, Wisconsin, while speaking to an audience about issues such as job creation, the upcoming presidential election, and guns. He had some fairly strong words to say about firearms, stating that when you want to “protect the democracy from the insurgents the first thing you do is you stop the gun trading.”
After speaking about the need for more jobs, Jackson called listeners to start “marching on gun shops across the country.” Apparently, Jackson never got the memo that the gun trade has been a consistent job creator over the past several years. One chant that he repeated with his followers was, “Guns out. Jobs in.” So, he’s all about job creation, but only if those jobs don’t have anything to do with guns.
