This gun puzzle, appropriately named “Intimidator,” challenges gun and puzzle enthusiasts with the daunting task of transforming this metal box into a functional firearm.
When it’s fully assembled, this puzzle box contains 125 brass, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, magnesium, and steel pieces. A bunch of the pieces are completely useless, but a few of them are the components you need to assemble a 45 caliber pistol.
You may be able to disassemble and reassemble your gun in just a few minutes, but are you sharp enough to differentiate the critical gun components from all of these red herring components? Seriously, just look at all of these fake pieces.
And even better, are you smart enough (and patient enough) to reassemble all of the components and return the Intimidator to its original cube shape?
Either way, this puzzle is a great project for people who like to work with their hands and love a good challenge. You will be well rewarded for solving the puzzle. The final gun is a bit bare-bones, but it’s also uniquely beautiful in its design. As Fish & Game points out, it’s eerily reminiscent of the gun used in the old James Bond movie, “The Man with the Golden Gun.”
