I went to a local Cabelas to buy a Ruger LC9, and the guy said "sorry, we're out of those, can't keep em on the shelves, they're selling like hot cakes!" He couldn't say when they would get any more either, but I was able to get one at a local gun store, which may now also be sold out. . .

If people are buying now they need to be wary of price. Many retailers are raising prices because of the buying frenzy. Extra important to shop around. Ammo is in short supply out there as well.

Most dealers are holding the line or price, in spite of the run. But there are ones to watch out for. Cheaper Than Dirt is price gouging out the wazoo.

ordered ammo and then got email (out of stock). Was told to wait or change order. I wait, then magic ammo back and price up. I still got the lower price, but WTF. forget Cheaper than Dirt

I saw which way the wind was blowing. Picked up two colt M4geries wednesday morning. The very last two in my area along with 8 high caps. Given that they think its going to be two months before they are restocked these may very well be the last ones to be legally sold in stores.

Wish I had the coin for another gun. Prices in Northern VA are going through the roof, where you can find them.

It's not about hunting it's about tyranny.

At a gun show in Biloxi Ms. today, and there was one guy who was holding the prices, everyone else was price gouging. Glock 18 magazine $95.00 each, just one example. I sent everyone I could to the guy who was being reel. I thanked hime for keeping his prices reasonable, he said "I'm trying to make a living not a killing" well said.
