Keep a sidearm in the cab with you. Locking your other weapons in an armored locked box rather than a comfortable glass one seems the safer option....

That would be a neat idea as a tool box but for my guns no way. Doesn't seem all that safe for weapons storage. Better off building safes in the cab as to not attract too much attention.

ya dodge 1500s already nailed gun storage compartments in the bed above the wheel wells and they are far more secure and safe there. Nothing safe about this, expect maybe in the city where people jack their truck up 20inch and it never sees dirt or rocks, sure the pretty boys will love um, but there is no real application for your guns to be under your truck like that, plus any joe on the street with a crowbar can crack those open. Interesting attempt but its a fail for real world application (with people who use a truck as a truck...)

so I have to stop the truck, turn off the engine to get the keys, get out to unlock the container to get to a weapon during a car jacking......... ya I don't think so. I'll keep wearing my holster thank you.
