The CZ 75 is one of the greatest full-size handguns ever made. If you don’t have one, you should consider getting one, all things current considered. Here’s our review.
Still, I’m not sure how fair it is to compare the PCR to the 75.
While it’s called the Compact in the video, that’s not the name the gun goes by in the U.S., although a few were imported with that stamped along the slide. Technically it is the CZ 75 D Compact, as opposed to the CZ 75 B Compact, which would be a more acceptable comparison.
The CZ 75 B Compact (as it is usually referred to in the States) is a service-size CZ 75. It has a steel frame and a slightly shorter slide, barrel and grip and a reduced capacity.
The PCR is an alloy-framed decocker model; the frame is similar to the Compact but has a different dust cover. It does use the same magazines and grips.
The decocker trigger is a little heavier and has a slightly longer reset, too.
