Speaking yesterday at the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing on gun control, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) stated that he believes it is a reasonable and constitutional right for Americans to be able to posses high capacity magazines in order to protect their families.

“Would I be a reasonable American to want my family to have the 15-round magazine in a semi-automatic weapon, to make sure, if there’s two intruders, she doesn’t run out of bullets?” he asked. “Am I an unreasonable person for saying that in that situation, the 15-round magazine makes sense?”

Graham also tweeted his stance:

Six bullets in the hands of a mother protecting her twin 9-year-olds may not be enough.
