NPR Asks: Should Gun Owners Have To Buy Liability Insurance?

As politicians and rights advocates discuss and debate solutions to curb gun violence, National Public Radio asks economists what their solution would be. And for some of them the answer is simple: liability insurance. But, as you’ll hear, that begs a slew of questions.

That would be the way to do it. Make the insurance too damn high for the law abiding people who buy their guns to own one. Then the criminals will go on shooting sprees at our expense.
