Look a bit more closely at some of the dogs feet and how the toes are splayed out looking for something firm. I have no doubts that they find it uncomfortable but the way they train even the Schutzhund's, any hesitation is gone. "The boss says "GO" and I damn well go"....Thats love as well as trainning. Magnificent anamials.

@Loren, I agree the training and absolute trust/love the operators have for their dogs, as well as a reciprocal feeling these warrior animals have for their master is true, I only see a few that have there feet/toes splayed, the one dog in the triple rig is in a feet down position thus his toes will be pushed out like that by the air, it is as you say normal to search for firm purchase, but close examination shows several of these warriors with feet relaxed as they have done these exercises so many times they to become more adjusted to this than one would think. I do not mean this to be an attack, just observations of these photos. You are absolutely correct they are MAGNIFICENT and I believe more as one operator I know expressed, " He is an equal in the field a WARRIOR partner I wouldn't even want to work without." I think our men and women that are trained and fortunate enough to work with any of these partners is always shaped forever by the bond and absolute respect they deserve and we as free Americans should be so grateful we have them to help serve and protect our troops and more. As everyone else has said, AMAZING/AWESOME photos of AMAZING WARRIORS!!!
