The nuclear test facility that was detected by tracing seismic activity back to the epicenter has been flagged on Google Maps. North Korea performed a third underground nuclear test yesterday, with other tests in 2006 and 2009.
They’ve drawn a lot of criticism, even from China.
Google just recently updated their map of North Korea with the help of defectors and volunteers, adding roads and other details to the previously-blank white slate representing the nation.
Following this most recent blast, Google added the information relating to the facility as their own form of protest.
The facility has a handful of customer reviews and is rated fair to poor, with people complaining about intermittent service, hit-or-miss food quality and high levels of ambient radiation and even beta burns.
