I like Cabela’s. I mean, they’re a sizable company with shops all over the country; they’re not Walmart but they’re still a big-box retailer. Just the same, they’ve been riding this storm like business as usual, selling what they can find for prices that match their 2012 rates. Which are a little high, but hey, no one’s complaining now.
And they know how to make a fine hunting ad, too. It’s happy, pretty people in happy, pretty places, as opposed to, you know, a string of scared, charging animals getting shot in the heart… Those ones aren’t going to make a lot of friends anymore.
