Georgia protester says she’d rather be killed than use a gun in self defense (VIDEO)

This Tuesday a demonstration was held at the Georgia State Capitol to protest stand your ground laws. See the video above as a reminder as to the type of thinking gun owners such as yourself are up against. A lady interviewed by CBS at the rally stated that “self defense is not an option.” The reporter asks what about when someone is trying to kill you – she responds “they’ll just have to kill me.”

I have no problem with somebody making a personal choice - ie. to be attacked rather than defend themselves. It's when they try to impose that choice on me I have a big problem. Clearly, not everybody wants to (or should) own a gun, but those of us who do exercise that right should be left alone to do so.

Probably not the kind of person I'd trust with a gun either but if she's attacked I just hope there is a armed citizen to step in and save her confused life.

I don't. Nature abhors a vacuum and similarly, nature will destroy ANY creation that isn't smart enough to defend itself against predators.

If she isn't smart enough to defend herself, let her go the way of the dodo.

I wouldn't have a problem shooting someone in self defense, but I don't need an assault riffle I just need a regular riffle or gun I would hit what I need with 1 shot! Thats all I have to say on the subject.

That is YOUR choice. But hidden in your comment we can see you don't that others should have anything other than a regular rifle either. I have several AR-15's that are defensive weapons. I don't have any assault weapons in my house. You are somewhat uninformed and a bit delusional at best. That's all I have to say on the subject.
