A federal prison guard in Northwestern Pennsylvania is in a bit of legal trouble after having tried to remove his wedding ring, with a gun. Obviously having a pretty bad day, Alfredo Malespini III of Bradford, Pennsylvania, used his handgun “trying to get rid of his wedding ring” after having a drunken argument with his wife over an alleged affair.
Bradford who has had law enforcement called to his house in the past, is currently being charged with recklessly endangering another person, a second-degree misdemeanor; disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor; and firing a weapon inside the city limits of Bradford, a summary offense.
Bradford was treated at a local hospital for what was describe as a badly mangled finger and psychiatric issues. He is still employed as a lieutenant at the Federal Correctional Institution-McKean in Pennsylvania.
