Fox News’ Megyn Kelly invited NRA Vice President and Executive CEO Wayne LaPierre on her show yesterday to react to Connecticut’s sweeping new gun laws. Regarding the subject of magazine capacity, Kelly presented LaPierre with a passioned presentation of Newtown families call for restrictions. Unhappy with LaPierre’s answer that no beneficial evidence one way or the other has ever been presented on magazine limits, Kelly agreed to disagree. Like many politicians and those in the media, Kelly seems comfortable with setting magazine capacities at 10. Why 10? No one can say.
Kelly continued on to to ask LaPierre why the NRA opposes background checks, but cut the conversation short due to time.
