Seven families, all apart of The Sandy Hook Promise, appeared in a moving 60 Minutes interview that aired Sunday evening.  In the interview with Scott Pelly, the families recount their personal memories of the Newtown shootings and their lives since.  They also pleaded their case for an overhaul of both local and federal gun laws, using the recently passed changes in Connecticut as an example.  The families of The Sandy Hook Promise continue to personally lobby members of Congress where they would like to specifically see a passing of universal background checks and magazine capacity limits.
