The New Jersey Senate Law and Public Safety Committee recently approved seven new gun control measures. The anti-gun legislation was met with fierce opposition from gun rights advocates who attended the public hearings en masse. One such supporter, Nora Craig – a Navy Veteran and congressional citation recipient, took umbrage with lawmakers and the measures they passed.
“I don’t respect an oath breaker…you abrogate my constitutional rights, that’s breaking your oath and I have no respect for that,” said Craig. “There’s only one thing I’m afraid, that’s the people in elected office taking away my rights.”
Craig’s inspiring speech was met with resounding applause from the gallery.
