It appears former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden share similar ideas regarding home defense.
“If you live in a city and you think you need protection in your home, you’re way better off with a shotgun than an assault weapon. Trust me,” said Mr. Clinton.
The 42nd President’s tactical recommendation comes on the heels of Mr. Biden’s campaign extolling the advantages of shotguns over semiautomatic rifles. During a Facebook chat in February, the Vice President said,
“If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun. You don’t need an AR-15. It’s harder to aim; it’s harder to use. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”
