The creator of “Beavis & Butt-Head” and “King of the Hill,” recently confirmed he owns guns and ultimately thinks they make people safer.
Mike Judge spoke to conspiracy theorist Alex Jones Thursday in a one-on-one interview inside the producer/director’s Austin, Texas, home. Speaking out on guns and politics, Judge voiced frustration about celebrities who “put out a political message when they have no idea what they’re talking about.”
The “Office Space” director went on to tell Jones “I own guns and I think if you look at it statistically, you are actually are safer.” Judge also sounded off on the recent IRS scandal involving the specific targeting of Tea Party groups:
“That does scare me, I think I’m gonna make sure to not use the words ‘tea party’ or ‘constitution’ in any of my work … that actually is scary, that’s gonna make me listen to some more Alex Jones.”
The interview concluded with Judge affirming his support for Jones and his angry rants directed at Piers Morgran. “I loved it. It’s good to see someone yelling at Piers Morgan … I was thinking right on Alex go for it!”
