Joe Scarborough accused the National Rifle Association of racism Thursday due to their use of an altered photo of President Obama.
The shaded picture of Obama appears in the NRA’s new ad targeting gun control advocate Sen. Joe Machin (D-WV). According to the MSNBC host, “He’s shaded awfully. I think the shading is rather dramatic on the side of his face. It just seems patently obvious what they’re doing.”
Scarborough compared the image to the controversial 1994 Time magazine cover about the O.J. Simpson case – where Simpson was similarly shaded.
