Gun rights organizers have collected enough signatures to begin the recall election of Colorado senate president John Morse. The secretary of state has validated a majority of those signatures and now Morse and his administration have two weeks to fight the recall election before it goes to the ballot.
This is a nice set of interviews with I Am Created Equal leader Laura Carno.
If this does go to ballot, Morse will have to be re-elected if he doesn’t resign first. If he resigns, the Democratic majority leaders will select a new senate president to take his place. If he takes things to the polls the electorate will vote for his replacement.
