Retired Army sergeant first class, Dillard Johnson is being called the country’s deadliest soldier. In his recently released memoir “Carnivore” he claims to have killed 2,746 enemies, more than any other soldier in U.S. history. Of those, 121 were sniper kills, making him the second deadliest American sniper, only behind the late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.
Johnson told The New York Post, “I killed when I needed to… I was brutal when I needed to be, but I was compassionate when I needed to be.”
He’s won the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and four Purple Hearts. He has already beat cancer once and is beating it once again, and he simply calls himself “lucky.
