Never trust a woman… especially if she’s swimming nude in your pool for no apparent reason. That’s the hard lesson that a Crossville, Tennessee, man learned on June 27.
According to police, the man was approached by a neighbor nearly half his age when she asked if she could go swimming in his pool. While the woman’s husband had left to “get her cigarettes” the woman asked the homeowner if he would mind if she swam in the nude. He replied by saying no, he did not mind if the woman was in his swimming pool naked.
After some time, the homeowner thought the party was over, but he was wrong. “I went and got her a towel, she dried off and all of a sudden she was soaking wet again. I escorted her outside and invited her to church, but she said she didn’t have time for that, she wasn’t ready for that,” the homeowner said.
But while the homeowner was distracted for about 20 minutes by the bare-skinned woman, her husband wasn’t getting her cigarettes, he was stealing the man’s stuff from his house. In fact, the man took over $1,000 worth of jewelry, medications and a handgun.
“They cleared me out and I just feel violated,” the homeowner said.
