Ted Nugent can have a way of getting under peoples skin. He’s the guy that you either love or hate. His messages either resonate with your beliefs or people can’t believe the words that came out of his mouth. In New Haven, Connecticut there are about 3,000 petitioners that don’t care too much for Uncle Ted.
Ted Nugent’s views on gun control has given him a long list of critics. After his statement in the Trayvon Martin shooting in which Nugent said Martin was a, 17 year old “dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe,” the list is sure to get longer.
So 3,000 citizens of New Haven signed a petition to stop Nugent from playing at a venue known as Toad’s Place. New Haven Activist Barbara Fair wrote a letter to the owner of Toad’s Place asking for the concert to be canceled because of Nugent’s views on Trayvon Martin.
