Former U.S. Navy SEAL Dom Raso talks about “Training,” and “improving ourselves” in an exclusive commentary for NRA News.
Raso says that training goes beyond acquiring a concealed weapon permit or just buying a gun, and extends to incorporating training into a part of your life.
People frequently ask Raso what goes into SEAL training, and he says what people fail to realize is that while it is extremely difficult, that training process is just the beginning.
Raso advises to figure out what drives you and motivates you to wake up in the morning, and to “find something you would die for, and live for it”.
So in the spirit of Raso, figure out how to take your training to the next level. Whether it be getting involved in competition shooting, starting your own training classes, or just figuring out how to squeeze in more trigger time.
