It’s really not surprising to me to hear that these games are kicking blockbuster movie butts at the bank; there are years and tens of millions of dollars — sometimes hundreds of millions — not to mention several hundred people working and investing in the final project.
Of course, the notion that a Battlefield game won’t sell tremendously is laughable. While everyone’s hoping for greatness, the truth is that between this and Call of Duty they just have to have a beginning and ending; middle is optional, add some multiplayer, a zombie mode and call it a night.
There’s no wondering why Forbes would do a spread on Battlefield 4.
