Man’s gun falls out of holster, discharges inside restaurant (VIDEO)

An unidentified concealed carrier was about to pay his bill at a restaurant in Kernersville, North Carolina, when his handgun accidentally slipped out of its holster and discharged, Fox 8 reports.

The firearm discharged when it struck the floor, firing a single round that passed through the counter, wall and then ceiling. No one was injured.

Concerned patrons called 911 and officers from the Kernersville Police Department responded to the call of shots fired at Palenque Mexican Restaurant around 1 p.m.

Police are still investigating the incident, but in the meantime, a new holster may be in order.
