These are tunnel bombs, an increasingly popular tactic used by various Syrian rebel groups and FSA forces to deal blows to the Syrian military and other government targets without exposing themselves in the attacks. The tunnel bombs have consumed entire city blocks.
Lest things get too one-sided, a Syrian air force pilot takes this MiG-21 for a spin, flicking an unguided bomb at a group of rebels with jaw-dropping accuracy.
This is apparently the same cameraman that narrowly escape exploding when recording footage of a MiG-29 as it turn right towards him and his group, opening fire.
I’m not sure what’s more terrifying, seeing whole sections of the city turned to dust or watching that single bomb get bigger and bigger, whistling as it closes in…
