A U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bomber had an air strike with a buzzard while landing at RAF Fairford in Swindon, Wiltshire.
The buzzard tried avoiding the aircraft, but was sucked into the engines. Even still, the B-2 landed safely and took off again later in the day, Daily Mail reports.
Photographer Matt Morris captured the bird strike while photographing the $737 million aircraft.
“I couldn’t believe it at first,” Morris said. “The B-2 hasn’t been in the UK for five years and to get a glimpse of it landing is a sight itself for plane-spotters, but to actually witness the moment a bird hits it is truly extraordinary.”
