Documents in James Boyd shooting case

Officers Dominique Perez and Keith Sandy are the first Albuquerque officers to be charged with murder following an on-duty shooting in at least 50 years. Perez and Sandy opened fire on James Boyd, a homeless man with a history of mental illness and armed with two knives, after a four-hour standoff with as many as 20 officers. Boyd, who had been camping illegally in the Sandia foothills, died the following day.
