The Patriot Ordnance Factory is having a week-long sale on the new 7.62x39mm Puritan and 6.8 Remington SPC M-Rail uppers. Through Sunday, April 26 these uppers will be on sale for more than $100 off their list price with the “PATRIOT” coupon code.

POF is cutting prices on these uppers for a limited time in remembrance of the battles of Lexington and Concord and the start of the American Revolution. Using the code buyers can pick up the new Puritan upper for $926 and the premium M-Rail upper for $1,358.

These are feature-packed piston-driven AR-15 uppers that sport more than just POF’s short-stroke adjustable gas piston system, with uncommon features like POF’s E2 extraction system, which uses micro-flutes around the case mouth to unseal spent cartridges ensuring more positive extraction. The small flute let just enough gas around the case mouth to break the seal between a spent case and the chamber without leading to fouling or warped brass.

Loaded with Hornady SST ammo, the POF team was able to shoot 0.8-MOA groups with the new 7.62x39mm Puritan Rifle, but what’s even more impressive is that they were shooting 1.1-MOA groups with bulk Wolf ammo, too. That’s using a fixed Magpul MOE handguard; the 6.8 Rem. SPC upper is equipped with their MMR modular free-floating handguard.

Both uppers have 16.5-inch barrels with a nitride finish for enhanced wear resistance and accuracy, nickel-plated bolt carrier groups for ease of cleaning and lubricity and each comes with two standard-capacity magazines where available. If you’ve been thinking about getting one of these POF uppers now’s your chance to buy and save.
