When deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in Florida recently pulled over a 2015 Mercedes that had been reported stolen, the stop ended in a slew of charges against the driver, who was so desperate to avoid being identified that he attempted to chew off his fingertips while sitting in the squad car. And the entire thing was captured on video.
The attempt failed and authorities identified the driver as Kenzo Roberts, 20, then quickly discovered why he did not want to be identified.
Not only was Roberts in the country illegally, but he had two felony warrants for assault with a deadly weapon.
He now faces charges for Possession of a Counterfeit Credit Card times three, Grand Theft Auto, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, Possession of Similitude of a Driver’s License, Driving while License Suspended, and False Identification given to law enforcement.
