An intended robbery at a Pittsburgh convenience store Monday didn’t quite go as planned and the utter failure was captured on the store’s video surveillance system.
Two suspects, one wielding a machete, ran into the store and demanded cash, but instead of grabbing money, the clerk, Jewad Hayitt, pulled out a bigger sword. Defeated before the crime barely even began, the two crooks turned around and ran away.
But as it turns out, the would-be robbers got off easier than they realized. In fact, safety is a priority at the shop, which is why the owners keep the sword – as well as a gun – behind the counter. But Hayitt said since the suspects entered with a sword, he opted for the same.
