Monday proved an especially violent night in Cincinnati, with eight people shot over a span of five hours.
Among the victims was one fatality, later identified as Marcus Lampson, who was found lying in a driveway around 1:30 a.m. Five people were also shot in a single drive-by during a neighborhood barbeque, which Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac referred to as a “senseless” crime. The victims included a 3-year-old boy, who was shot in the leg, but expected to survive.
No arrests have been made at this time in any of the shootings.
