Why yes, that IS a 35 round horseshoe mag, thanks for asking (VIDEO)

Ian over at Forgotten Weapons got his hands on a French-made Union pistol from the 1920s, complete with a 35-round horseshoe magazine that is no joke.

The handgun with an extended barrel, which dates back to 1925, is in .32ACP and the detachable ‘shoe has to be loaded via a tool as things can get kinda wonky without it.

Why so many rounds? Well, besides the obvious answer of “why not!” is the fact that many Union pistols were also produced in select-fire variants, making a 35-shot feedbag a welcome addition when keeping this pony running.
