“Everybody in Maine, we have constitutional carry. Load up and get rid of the drug dealers,” was the message recently portrayed by Maine Gov. Paul LePage.
What prompted the not-so-subtle message?
“Because folks, they’re killing our kids,” LePage explained.
The governor later confirmed he wasn’t pushing vigilante justice and also confirmed that the statement he recently made about public executions for drug dealers was, in fact, a joke. But what LaPage was completely serious about was cracking down on the drug dealers and giving them harsher penalties.
“Where’s the outrage?” LePage queried. “Let’s get mad. Let’s stop it.”
