Two teen boys were arrested this week after they posted a Snapchat video of themselves with a handgun, magazine and bullets inside the bathroom of an Orlando high school.
A student at Cypress Creek High School, who saw the video, informed his parents of it. They, in turn, contacted authorities, who worked to identify the students in the video.
After being identified, the boys, ages 15 and 17, were arrested at their own homes. A handgun was found in a backpack belonging to the 17 year old. Both were charged with possession of a firearm on school property and possession of a firearm by a minor.
The school issued a statement about the incident, which the principal called isolated, citing there was no need to increase security.
