Sure, he may be big and buff and all of that, but after coming face to face with an elephant in South Africa, Arnold Schwarzenegger fled like a little girl. I’m kidding, of course, but the face-off was captured on video.
“I couldn’t have written this safari encounter better if it was a movie,” the 68-year-old former governor of California said in a post featuring the video on YouTube. “I’m absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals.”
Schwarzenegger admitted some of those on the trip had to change their pants after the ordeal, then noted that the killing of the creatures needed to stop.
“Take a photo, not a shot,” he suggested. “Would you rather be able to experience these creatures or a hunk of ivory? I thought so.”
