How many rounds does it take to make an AK74 meltdown? (VIDEO)

Eric and the IV8888 crew run the latest in their meltdown series of grueling tests with a VEPR 5.45x39mm rifle converted to select-fire by Definitive Arms.

They have been doing these tests for a while on AKs, Glocks, ARs and others (a Definitive Arms VEPR in 7.62x39mm went 800 rounds before jamming up) but this is their first 5.45mm run.

Starting off with a hodgepodge of 1,400 rounds and a table full of magazines, how far do you think they got with this one? Guess they didn’t expect that lacquered Wolf ammo to react the way it did…
