For the last eight years, Pete Souza has served as the Chief White House Photographer and in a touching post last month shared his eighth and final post depicting the year in review.
Souza explained that some of the photographs had historical significance, while others “were just cool.” Souza said he also wanted to show a more personal side President Obama and his family.
“I hope you enjoy this final Year in Photographs of the Obama administration,” Souza wrote. “It’s been the honor of a lifetime to be a witness to history these past eight years.”
