STI launched a new competition pistol called the DVC Steel 2011 designed to work with standard 9mm or .38 Super rounds.
The DVC Steel is a bit shorter than the DVC Open Pistol, allowing shooters to accomplish faster transitions and improve overall scores. The pistol sports a DLC hard chrome finish that is not only eye catching and attractive but also offers corrosion resistance for hundreds of thousands of rounds, according to STI.
The gun boasts a 4.15-inch barrel, plus TX1 Compensator, and is TiN coated. Featuring the DVC stippled grip, the pistol also touts an oversized magwell, extended magazines and the Recoil Master dual spring system. Rounding out the features are a 2.5-pound trigger pull, front and rear slide lightning cuts and C-More 6-MOA sights.
The DVC Steel has a 20-round capacity with both 9mm and .38 Super.
Though the new STI competition pistol is a beauty, it’s not for the faint of heart. The latest creation comes with a hefty price tag of $3,999.
