Bergara Rifles aims to stay ahead of the curve, offering its LRP, LRP Elite and Premier Long Range rifles in 6mm Creedmoor.
The 6mm Creedmoor is quietly taking the precision shooting world by storm, with more PRS shooters choosing it over its sister round the 6.5 Creedmoor. The gun maker has taken notice, offering 6mm Creedmoor chambering options for shooters looking to try their hand at the flatter shooting round.
The LRP kicks off the 6mm product lineup with a weight of 10 pounds and a barrel length of 26-inches. Featuring a Timney 517 Flat trigger and Magpul PMAG AICS detachable five round mag, the LRP offers shooters a sleek looking matte black rifle with a MSRP starting at $2,000.
The LRP Elite also boasts a 26-inch barrel, Timney 517 Flat trigger and Magpul PMAG. The Elite adds a little more weight, tipping scales at 11 pounds. The rifle is capable of producing sub 1.0 MOA or less with factory match grade ammunition. Prices start at $2,850 for the Elite.
Rounding out the 6mm series is Premier Long Range Rifle. Bergara says customers can think of this gun as merely an extension of the gun maker’s Custom Series but with a few standardized features. With a 26-inch barrel, the Premier Long Range comes with a hinged floorplate and a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head. Utilizing Magpul Mags, a Timney 517 flat trigger and a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, the Premier Long Range starts at $2,775.
Bergara says the innovation won’t stop with these three rifles as the company has more products up their sleeve.
“At Bergara, we’re not afraid to innovate and take risks and it shows in our rifles, which offer incredible build quality, fit and finish, all at a price that gives precision shooters great bang for their buck,” said Ben Fleming, VP of sales and marketing for Bergara Rifles, in a press release. “We’re nowhere close to done yet, we’ve got a lot planned and I really think you’ll be excited to see what we roll out with next.”
