Authorities in Pennsylvania are searching for a man accused of shooting his daughter’s boyfriend in the groin Sunday afternoon.
The shooting occurred after Donald Jenkins, 40, of Shenandoah, found his 20-year-old daughter and her boyfriend in the room of a Motel 6 near Frackville.
Lisa Mowery, a housekeeper at the motel, heard the gunshot and gave the boyfriend towels to help stop the bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital, where he continues to recover. Mowery said the area is normally quiet and the incident still has her reeling.
Jenkins, who authorities say was not pleased with his daughter’s dating situation, fled from the scene and has continued to elude authorities. He faces multiple charges, including attempted homicide.
