“The number of women arming themselves with firearms has increased by 77 percent over the last seven years. Not surprisingly, the more women learn about guns, the more they realize the farce of the anti-gun message: guns are not evil, they are empowering—especially for women. Nevertheless, the answer to this feminine firearm inflation remains somewhat furtive to some folks, though it would seem one simple explanation lies right out in the open: male-female relationships. My wife, a former Marine, recently pointed this out to me…”
Believe it or not, Second Amendment supporters in Colorado might ultimately reveal that the phrase a woman’s right to choose now has more of a gun connotation. With the recall of Senator Evie Hudak and the insensitivity shown to rape victim Amanda Collins, Colorado politicians are waking up to reality–women are choosing guns over rhetoric.
“Men like Colonel Nielsen preserved freedom, not tyranny. But discretionary permit laws create a climate of self-righteousness and power that threatens that freedom. Only intestinal fortitude, legal knowledge, and Second Amendment activists will maintain it.”
“The country continues to wrestle with how to protect our children from wicked lunatics but share the facts about firearms with people addicted to gun control or teacher unions and their heads might explode. These groups have no time for details and certainly no time for reality…”
“During the Zimmerman trial, the gun-control cabal was quick to exploit the average citizen’s lack of knowledge of self defense law and they quite successful at creating an emotionally misleading narrative. The thing is, the trial is over and this nonsense is still going on…”
“Perhaps these apologists, hooligans, outlaws, lawyers, and elitists (or more accurately the A-HOLEs) simply recognize their own mental instabilities and fear that a rational, law-abiding, and armed American might be forced to shoot an A-HOLE in self-defense.”
Last Sunday, Tavis Smiley said on ABC, “It appears to me…that you can in fact stand your ground unless you are a black man.” After this reckless comment, I would have never predicted that less than 48 hours later Smiley would be capable of seriously contributing to a bona-fide solution to remedy a divided America.
“None of the kids I know are Trayvon Martin… Most of their lives are already tough enough and pressuring them to identify with Martin is insanity.”
