Description

The Benelli M4 is a semi-automatic tactical shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The M4 is the standard shotgun issued by the US Marine Corps. And, as can be imagined, Benelli recommends the M4 for law enforcement and self defense.

Also, two new models of the M4 were introduced as new guns at the 2012 SHOT Show. The first is the M4 NFA model, which is very similar to the original. The NFA has National Firearms Act tactical configurations, meaning it comes with a 14-inch barrel, holds a fifth round and can only be purchased through an authorized Class III Commercial dealer. The second is considerably different. It's the M4 H2O, which has a premium quality finish that can withstand extreme conditions.

The M4 uses the ARGO (Auto Regulating Gas Operated) system that directs gas onto a piston to drive the bolt back instead of into a tube on the bolt. This system helps reduce carbon build up on the action. The M4 has a Picatinny rail, so scopes, sights, lights or lasers can be easily attached and detached. It is also drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Its standard sights are military style and adjustable for wind and elevation.
